Minvasys, leader in coronary bifurcation treatment, presented during the EuroPCR, Europe’s leading congress for interventional cardiology, several presentations and cases with its coronary bifurcation dedicated stent platform, Nile Croco®, chromium cobalt alloy stent and Nile Pax®, polymer Free abluminal paclitaxel coating.

Minvasys sponsored:

A symposium focused of coronary bifurcation treatment; “From models to real life”, where was presented first results of the Bipax trial.

An “How should I treat” session, treating a MEDINA 1,1,1 lesion with the Nile Pax versus operator’s choice treatment.

For the third consecutive year, a successful live case with the Nile system was transmitted by satellite from the Erasmus Rotterdam Center. The case was performed by Dr Robert-Jan van Guens during the “Glimpse into the future – New Drug Eluting Stents” session.

Lectures, cases presentations and live case, showed outstanding results in term of procedural and clinical data, for both Nile Croco® stent system at 6 months and Nile Pax® stent system at 30 days. 9 months results are expected in the fall 2010.

During this international meeting, Minvasys presented an extensive range of PTCA balloon covering indications from CTO to side branch treatment with the Danubio®; Paclitaxel eluting balloon under clinical development.
